Jim McCrossin
Athletic Trainer/Strength and Conditioning Coach

Jim McCrossin is the Head Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Philadelphia Flyers. He is beginning his 18th season within the Flyers organization.

He previously served as the assistant trainer and head strength and conditioning coach for the Hartford Whalers during the 1995-96 season. Jim earned his bachelor degree from West Chester University and has earned two Masters of Science degrees in both Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree. Jim is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) and is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).

He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society, and American College of Sports Medicine. Jim also serves on the Mid-Atlantic States Advisory Board for Strength and Conditioning.

Jim has four children: Kevin, J.D., Danielle, and Luke. He lives in New Jersey with his wife Robyn and their son Luke.
